چکیده

Today, 600 million people in Africa do not have access to electricity and 900 lack clean cooking facilities (International Energy Agency- 2019).
With this premise the paper will explain research agenda of African Off-grid Housing project on how design build off-grid affordable housing solutions for Sub-Saharan context. Off-grid power solutions

Despite widespread privatization and liberalization of the electricity sector in the 1980s and 1990s, rural electrification has been largely neglected. This is attributed to the fact that rural electrification provides little by way of market incentives for profit-seeking private companies. Besides, it is also characterized by geographical remoteness, dispersed consumers, higher costs of supply...

Off-grid Energy System Design for Residential Units

For decreasing the amount of air pollution and green gas emission and saving fossil fuels resource, one of the ways is extending renewable energy utilization. Hence, this yields to growth and development of Photovoltaic systems. Nowadays due to increasing electrical energy requirements and ability to privately providing required energy, the use of solar energy and its electrical power creativit...

Super-Resolution Off the Grid

Super-resolution is the problem of recovering a superposition of point sources using bandlimited measurements, which may be corrupted with noise. This signal processing problem arises in numerous imaging problems, ranging from astronomy to biology to spectroscopy, where it is common to take (coarse) Fourier measurements of an object. Of particular interest is in obtaining estimation procedures ...

On-grid and Off-grid Operation of Multi-Input Single-Output DC/DC Converter based Fuel Cell Generation System

This paper presents the modeling and simulation of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) generation system for off-grid and on-grid operation and configuration. A fuel cell DG system consists of a fuel cell power plant, a DC/DC converter and a DC/AC inverter. The dynamic model for fuel cell array and its power electronic interfacing are presented also a multi-input single output (MISO) D...
